Hi there...

 

I don't know how widespread the word is on this, but Edward makes a cameo appearance in the Ricky Gervais/Jennifer Garner flick THE INVENTION OF LYING in theaters now.  I found the movie quite humorous because I love Ricky Gervais and Edward's cameo is very funny. 

 

Movie synopsis: The basic premise is that no one in the world can tell a lie--about anything--until Ricky Gervais' character tells the first lie.  From that point, he is the only one that can do it.  Although he tries to tell people he has invented being able to say things that aren't true, they cannot wrap their minds around the concept of lying so they take him at his word whenever he says anything no matter how farfetched.  Edward plays a patrol cop that pulls Gervais and a friend over because the friend is driving drunk.  When you see the motorcycle cop pull up behind them...pay attention, it's Edward.  And, he's a cop that cannot tell a lie, so imagine the type of things he can't lie about!
