This Friday, Nov 11th - Tom Burke/Mary Cooper's annual Boston daytrip.
Shopping, a nice meal, some beer, some creeking - you know the deal. If you
can make it to Boston for the day from wherever you are, they'd be glad to
have you join them. (Contact: Tom Burke)

Saturday, November 19th - a daytrip to the Mohegan Sun casino/resort in
Connecticut, for some betting, eating - Sue doesn't bet, would spearhead
          other activities. (Contact: Tom Burke)

Fri nite/Saturday, November 25-26th - Thanksgiving weekend on Long Island.
Bob plans a day-long set of activities on Saturday; possibly visiting some
East End wineries (we can make our own version of the film "Sideways") plus,
weather permitting, some creeking and likely a dinner meet-up. If you'll be
around on Friday night, we may have some evening activities planned (maybe
some music) and/or some food. (Contact: Bob Castagna)

Saturday, December 3rd - annual daytrip to Manhattan. Some meals are
planned, visiting the Rockefeller Center tree, some shopping, etc. (Contact:
          Tom Burke)

Friday, December 23rd - beginning at 8:00 PM, our annual birthday party (Ed
Davis, Tom Burke, Jay Webster and, of course, our blushing new bride, Jackie
Cohen). Location will be in Suffolk County, the location is not yet
determined. We will advise when plans are set.

Do any of you have any plans, or events you'd like to open up to "the
gang"? We'd be delighted to have you post it here, along with some contact
          information. Please feel free.

Hope that everyone has made it through the Thanksgiving-New Year season
            well.

I'll be going down to Florida over the last weekend in February on vacation.
Part of the time will be on my own, and part to visit Marilyn & family in the
Tampa region. But we hope to have a larger gathering this year: with Charlie
"Duke of Earl" Rykert, as well as our ol' college pal John Logoskiy joining us
to see Marilyn, Steve and Rebecca. Should be fun, and hope to have more to tell
            later on.

Any other plans that people have going on; anything that you'd like to have
visitors for? Let it be known here.

weekend in November (Friday night, Nov 6th through Sunday, Nov 8th). There will
be good food/drink, some creeking, more food/drink, jokes and old stories ...
you know the drill. Just let Tom & Sue know if you're interested. And there are
places to stay nearby if you want your own accommodations.

In addition, Tom will lead the annual Field Trip to Boston on the November
11th Veteran's Day holiday (which will be on a Wednesday this year). Once
again, let him know if you're interested, so as to arrange a meet-up place.

P.S. - continuing to make progress in my rehabilitation. I was able to walk for
a full hour this past weekend - a little sore afterwards, but not bad. And at
Physical Therapy: each time I go they measure how far I can bend my right knee.
I started at only 42 degrees this past spring - reached an all-time high of 85
degrees yesterday. So there will only be four more PT sessions for me this
year, before it concludes. And perhaps one more next March, in advance of my
              next appointment with my Orthopedist.

Hey Ed: Great news about your re-hab. What about the other results of all your PT and gym work, like your 24-inch pythons and ripped abs? Have a great weekend.
