      individual). suffice to say that some DO grow throughout their lives,
      develop some degree of awareness, and go out wiser than when they came
      in (so to speak).

      but here is the problem, if one is not already on a growth/learning
      track when they find eckankar, the eck stuff is highly unlikely to
      change that. the individual truly learning was learning when he got
      there, will continue to learn until he outgrows whatever it is
      eckankar has to say (or not say), then leave and continue on his way.

      the eck mess is artificially imposed, if u catch my drift. those who
      are not internally mobile in the first place, simply latch onto the
      eck stuff and cement it. then, worse, turn it to be used for their own
      little doings. these folks would have done precisely the same with
      christianity, buddhism, or kiwanis club.
