Subject: It's the Summer Solstice, So ...
It's time to MAKE MUSIC, LA! Stefani, Lennie, Harriet and Friends will be
singing in the patio at the Hollywood Sunset Free Clinic at 7pm on Friday,
June 21, at an event sponsored by FolkWorks and Ash Grove Music. We'll have
song sheets and everyone can join in. The clinic is located at 3324 W
near the intersection with Micheltorena.
Invite friends and relatives! We'll have a "hoot" on the Solstice.
This is the second (I didn't even know there was a first!) annual Make Music
Los Angeles (MMLA) all day festival. All over LA county people have set up
music venues and invited performers - and all events are free. In the
immediate neighborhood of the clinic there are six or seven venues that will
be going all evening. Walk the street!
MMLA is a member of a worldwide network of over 460 cities including NY,
Pasadena, Denver, Vancouver, Chicago and 110 countries celebrating the
summer solstice. WOW! It will be fun to be a part of something that will be
going on world wide! Check out the MakeMusicLA.org website!
Hope to see you Friday evening!
