Any amendments/revisions changes may be submitted by 4/27 for By-Law Committee (BLC) review. Any further BLC revisions to be presented at May 4th LANCC meeting (Draft D). Draft D shall be presented for approval by 2/3rd vote at June 1st LANCC meeting. (See attachment) 5 min

      Claire Bowin, City Planner Policy Planning and Historic Resources Division Citywide Section- the Los Angeles Department of City Planning is working on three components of the City's General Plan. They are updating the Mobility Element (currently called Transportation Element) and the Housing Element and embarking on the development of a new Health and Wellness Chapter for the Framework Element. 30 min

      Mary Beth Fielder-Money out Voters in (MOVI) the purpose of the organization is to call attention to the dual threats of voter suppression and money in politics. Presentation of Proposition "C" City of Los Angeles, Limits to Campaign Spending and Rights of Corporations This measure proposes to support an Amendment to the US Constitution that would overturn portions of the Supreme Court's rulings in Buckley v Valeo and Citizens United v FEC to state that corporations do not have the constitutional rights of human beings and do not engage in constitutionally protected speech when spending corporate money to influence elections, and to make it permissible to set limits on political spending to ensure that all citizens, regardless of wealth, have an opportunity to have their political views heard. 20 min
