      On Saturday, December 8th, between the hours of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., the historic community of Echo Park will celebrate “Lights of Echo Park”. All are cordially invited to this annual event. The parade route is Sunset Boulevard (between Elysian Park Avenue and Park Avenue.)

       

      Grand Marshals (there are two this year!):

      William A. Murphy, Captain III, Commanding Officer, Northeast Community Police Station  and

      Steven A. Ruiz, Captain III, Commanding Officer, Rampart Community Police Station

      I will post additional information pertaining to street  closures on Tuesday. To the residents of Sutherland Street, Lilac Terrace and Quintero Street, the Echo Park Community Parade Committee has not forgotten about you. That information will also be provided on Tuesday.
