RE: [EKSouth] War in November - Fighting Location?
- Richard, will the 100 minutes of fighting on the hill next to the Hempstead
House, like you suggested at the Sands Point Medieval Fair? Or are you
thinking on the Hempstead House lawn instead?
I think the hill would be a lot more fun, but boy are people going to get
tired walking up it repeatedly. If you are going to do that, you might want
to have sides change half way through so one side isn't walking up hill the
Are the archers going to roam freely or be in designated areas?
(For those that have not been to the site before, the lawn is behind
Hempstead House and is perfectly flat, surrounded on the other three sides
by a stone wall and it overlooks Long Island Sound. Right next to it is a

of Acre thought it would be cool to fight on the hill with archery support.
The hill is perfectly safe if it isn't too wet but might not leave much room
for spectators to view it with arrows flying around).
