I run ambulance most weekends and I have Drills on
      Tuesdays.

I don't mean to denigrate his work. I'm sure you are all fine fighters. I
was just surprised that you call this an all female fighter practice,
when in fact it is taught by a man. If I were to seek out an all female
practice, I would want a space *free* of men, not with one in charge.

Judging by the martial arts classes I attend regularly it's the balance of
the student body that determines the tenor of the class. Days that we have all
women on the mat to work it makes little difference which gender the teacher
        is.

As long as the person instructing is good at teaching heavy weapons I'd be
fine with whatever their gender. It's a fact that there are far fewer female
fighters around than male fighters. Of that few there are an even smaller number
that are able and willing to teach. It's quite possible that none of that
rare breed live in Iron Bog. As long as the main body of the fighters are women
I see no problem with calling it a women's fighter practice even if the
        instructor is male.

Tues is the only day all of us can make it. Maybe in the fall it may change. Lena ... src= http://us.a1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/a/sl/sleepangel/sleep_300x250.gif
