      benefit the Ossining Open Door Foundation to benefit those children in need.
      Please bring an unwrapped toy for the basket if you wish to donate. More

      The Gilded Pearl with the assistance of the Canton of Northpass, wishes to

      invite one and all to the "Celestial Revel in the Guild Hall",on December
      7,8

      and 9 at the Blue Mountain Reservation, Welcher Avenue, Peekskill, NY 10566.

      The winter has been long and cold, and the Guild wishes to make merry in

      their Guild hall.The day will be made full with gaming and revelry

      appropriate to the age of Discovery. Participants are encouraged to bring

      accounts of new innovations from their homeland to share with one and all.

      Musicians, artisans, and dancers alike are most welcome as well.

      Directions:


      From the North: Follow Rt 9 South to Annsville circle take second right

      towards Peekskill (over Jan Peek Bridge), at light bear right and follow Rt
      9

      to fourth exit -Welcher Avenue (Diner and gas station on opposite corner).

      Turn Left towards Peekskill and follow Welcher Avenue into Park Entrance. At

      guard house, follow left fork through park. Look for next apparent building.

      This will be the Lodge.



      From East Westchester and Western Ct.:


      Best route to Route 35 to Route 202, to Bear Mountain Ext., to Route 9
      South,

      to Peekskill's Welcher Avenue exit. At light, make left, go under Route 9
      and

      up hill. Straight into Park, bearing left around the guardhouse.At guard

      house, follow left fork through park. Look for next apparent building. This

      will be the Lodge.





      From Southern Westchester and Points South (NYC):Best route to Saw Mill
      River

      Pkwy North, to Taconic State Pkwy, to Route 9A North, to Route 9 North, to

      Welcher Ave. exit. Make a right, go up hill and into Park. . Follow road

      straight to park entrance. At guard house, follow left fork through park.

      Look for next apparent building on right. This will be the Lodge.


      From NJ: Take 287 to the NY/NJ Border.Follow the Thruway (87) towards the

      Tapanzee bridge. At the exit for The Palisades International Parkway (4th

      exit) take this northbound. Follow the Palisades/Bear Mountain Parkway
      about

      ten miles(?) to a visible fork in the road. The left will go towards NJ/

      Route 17 and you need to take the right side of the fork which will bring
      you

      to the BEAR MOUNTAIN BRIDGE. You will enter a traffic circle just before the

      bridge. Take the 2nd right to the bridge. After paying the $1.00 toll, go

      over the bridge and follow the right fork of Route 202/Rt. 6 around the

      mountain (known as Anthony's Nose). Continue cautiously as the road is very

      serpentine (very winding). Continue on this road, Route 202/6 (known to the

      locals as "the goat path" and is good for sightseeing ) and follow until you

      reach another circle. (Annsville Circle) Bear to your first right which
      goes

      over the Jan Peek bridge and stay in your right lane. Turn right at the T

      intersection (there will be a mountain in front of you) onto Route 9 (

      South bound). Go to fourth exit .This is Welcher Avenue (Diner and Mobil
      gas

      station on opposite corner). Turn Left towards Peekskill and follow Welcher

      Avenue into Park Entrance. At guard house, follow left fork through park.

      Look for next apparent building on right. This will be the Lodge.(Total

      Bridge Cost= $1.00)
