Greetings to all fighters, archers, and scouts of the Southern Army of the East Kingdom from Baron Lawrence.

Congratulations to the following fighters who have made the Southern Army's Special Forces Unit for the Woods and Abbey battles at this year's Pennsic War.  Lord Shamus, Lord Jibrell, Lord Wulfbran, Lord Arnolff, Lord Eric, Lord Elfwyn, Lord Eric Undenfa, Puppy and Lord Ishuan.  The alternates are Lord Rygar, Lord Brice, Lord Sterling, and Lord Machen.  All of the above fighters should report to Lord Asbjorn's camp which is Black Dragon located at the east end of N-16 when they arrive on site to sign in.  Lord Asbjorn is the unit's commander and is planning several walks through the woods to lay out the route for the start of the battle.  If  anyone knows any of the fighters on the above list who does not subscribe to this web page or is not on the web at all, please tell them they made the list, so they know where and when to report.

A NOTICE TO ALL SCOUTS, COMBAT ARCHERS AND FIGHTERS: If you have time prior to leaving for Pennsic, go to the Mid-Realm's Oaken Army's web page located at www.midrealm.org/oakenarmy/letters.html.  There you will find information about their officers, their coats of arms, and basic tactics.  Scouts and combat archers are encouraged to learn these arms, to make it easier to find their officers.  Fighters are encouraged to do the same as it will be useful in most of the battle scenarios.

All officers of the Southern Army should report to Sir Manfred's camp located  in Von Halstern encampment, on Sunday, August 13th. around 5:30pm in the evening for a very short meeting. There you will be given information about future meeting times and mustering points for each of the battles. I wish all of you a safe and uneventful trip out to Pennsic.  I hope to see all of you there.

Yours in Service, Baron Larry, Lt Gen.  Southern Army of the East.
