Group Description

An open forum for dicussion and the exchange of ideas, relating to Historical European Combat, between Guild members and non-members. This will centre around the European Historical Combat Guild and the approach that it takes to the subject.
This is a forum for Chapter Masters of The European Historical Combat Guild.

The Guilds aims are to allow open and informal discussion between members of The European Historical Combat Guild, on subjects relating to Historical European martial arts and the study and practice of these skills in the modern enviroment.

The EHCG, teaches and researches European combat. It does so based upon an understanding and application of the Priciples. These are fundamentals that govern movement in general and combat specifically, most of which are self evident and are found in most martial arts and historical combat manuals.
These have been used for over 40 years by John Waller, Guild Master and founder of the system, in the practice and teaching of Historical combat.
