Killed in Action on 12 December 1977
Colm McNutt, age 18, was killed in a Derry car park on the edge of
the Bogside near Butcher's Gate by an undercover unit of the British
Army's Special Air Service in circumstances suggesting he was a
victim of a "shoot to kill" policy.
His brother Davy was an INLA volunteer who died of natural causes in
A memorial to Colm and two other comrades was unveiled in the Bogside
area of Derry on 13 July 2003.
He died as he lived: as a Republican Socialist. Remember him with
honour and pride.
