      Greetings,

On WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2010 at 5:00 PM, there will be a joint program sponsored by the Newark Amateur Radio Society and the NJIT Amateur Radio Club, to recognize those Amateur Radio operators in our area who were instrumental in setting up communications to support the people of Haiti and their loved ones in New Jersey after the January 12, 2010 earthquake.  It will be held on the NJIT campus in Newark, in the ECEC Building, Room 202.

Talk-in will be on the NJIT repeater, 147.225 MHz, + offset, PL 141.3.

This will be a short program, so please arrive early.  Plenty of photos will be taken, so you may want to dress to impress.  It will be great for us to all meet one another.

      HOW TO GET THERE:

Room 202 in the ECEC building. This building is on the northwest corner of Warren St and Summit St. It is just south of and attached to Faculty Hall via a pedestrian bridge. Come out of the elevator in ECEC on the 2nd floor and make 2 right turns. If taking the pedestrian bridge from Faculty Hall, the room is on the left side after crossing the bridge.
