The Day of the Child
El Dia De Los Niños/El Dia De Los Libros
Day of the Child/Day of the book @ the Elko County Library
Join us at The Elko County Library as we acknowledge, honor and celebrate an extraordinary gift – the gift of our area’s children. These children represent our future, our hopes and the dreams of our community. It is also a time to celebrate the importance of books in the lives of children.
The Elko County Library plans to celebrate “El Dia de los Niños/los Libros” during Spring Break, April 5th through April 10th, with a variety of activities.
April 5 – “Let’s Go Play Legos” from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Children and adults are welcome to come to the library and let their creativity soar as they put together beautiful objects with Legos. The library will supply the Legos, you supply the imagination.
