Nevada: Calls Needed Immediately to Support Homeschool Freedom Bill

      Dear HSLDA Members and Friends,

As you know, S.B. 404, which was introduced by Senator Maurice E.
Washington, would eliminate much of the current regulation of
homeschoolers in Nevada. This crucial bill has a hearing on Friday,
April 6, before the Senate Human Resources and Education Committee. We
need your calls so that the senators in this committee will recognize
      the importance of this bill.

      REQUESTED ACTION:

Today and Friday morning, please call as many members of the Senate
Human Resources and Education Committee as you can and give them this
      message:

"Please support S.B. 404, introduced by Senator Washington. This bill
will better protect parental rights and choice in the area of
education. It will also save taxpayers' money by reducing unnecessary
      bureaucratic oversight over homeschoolers."

Members of the Senate Human Resources and Education Committee

Vice Chair Barbara Cegavske, 775-684-1445, bcegavske@...
