      FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Reach for the stars this summer as the Elko County Library presents “Dream Big - READ” as the theme for their annual summer reading program.  Children will explore the stars, moon, and night creatures through stories, crafts, music, and special programs.

The 2012 summer reading program will consist of 3 special groups: “Rock-A-Bye Babies” for children 0 to 3, “The Star Readers” for children 4 to 11, and “Own the Night” for young adults 11 to 18.  Participants in each group will receive special reading logs, be able to participate in programs designed for their group, and will have the chance to earn incentive prizes, and t-shirts.

Registration for all groups will begin May 14th, so stop in at the Elko County Library located at 720 Court Street or call 738-3066 to learn more.

The “Dream Big – READ” Summer Reading Program is sponsored by Barrick Gold of North America.
