A reminder to all who were not present at last week's Assembly meeting - your services as a Knight, Sir Knight and most of all as a Cathlic gentleman are needed this week. Please see request for assistance below from St. Theresa's Parish; your respective Parish has needs as well. Do not wait for a call to step up - you know what to do!Thank you in advance for your support in making Holy Week a less stressful one for Our Priests as well as for those dedicated Brothers who are always there to do their part!Vivat Jesus!Jay, FN 1781-----Original Message-----

Brothers,Holy week is upon us and now your Parish and your Council needs your support...... if you have not already signed up to help out please consider any combination of the following activities that require your assistance, POC's are listed below in the original email:We are still looking for 5 Brothers (3 primary and 2 alternate) to step up as part of the foot washing detail during Holy Thursday. Contact Brother Don ASAP.You have seen Brother Bubba's usher vacancy sheet by Mass for the week..... reach to him if you are available to assist with ushering.... even if you have never done so. Easiest duty you'll ever pull and our team captains assure collective success, every time (pardon the pun).Contact Brother Jason to assist with traffic control (Holy Thursday and all Easter Masses).4th Degree Brothers who would like to participate on Holy Thursday as part of the Color Corps, please contact SK John Bradley. Please consider helping out where you are able and if you do, be sure to wear your KofC nametag. Membership drive next month and it's never too early to show the brand.Plenty for us to do, much to celebrate and be thankful for.Vivat Jesus!Cole-----Original Message-------

Subject: Holy Thursday Clelbration of the Lord SupperMy Brother Knights,It's hard to believe that the Celebration of the Lord's Supper, Holy Thursday is just two weeks from tonight. As you probably know, since our founding, Knights of the Blessed Louis Martin Council #15256 have supported this very important celebration through selfless service to the Parish such at performing duties at EEMs, Lectors, Ushers and the like. For this special evening, we will need 12 Brothers to participate as part of the foot washing portion of the Mass. This part of the Mass represents when Jesus washed the feet of His 12 disciples and Father Guest will do the same. Presently, we have 5 Brothers signed up to support and we need 7 more, 9 would be better as it's a good idea to have some back up alternates in the event of an emergency on the part of one of the other Brothers. If you are available to participate with the foot washing, please contact Brother and SK Don Lavanti to get signed up. Contact Don by email at jtrinc@....Also, during and after the Mass, 4th Degree Brothers in full regalia are invited and encouraged to participate as part of the Color Corps. If interested, 4th Degree Brothers should contact SK John Bradley, our Assembly Color Corps Commander at h2ojfb@.... If you need regalia to participate, let John know and he will arrange for extra sets.We will also support the Parish parking lots with ground guides throughout Holy Week. If you are available to assist with just one, some or all Masses during Holy Week, please contact Brother Jason Campiti at jcampiti@...I'm very much looking forward to this Holy Week as I'm sure many of you are too. Armed with our new Pope, prayer and cheritable good works in our future, my sincere hope is that you will all have the opportunity to participate in some measure.Be His Light!Vivat Jesus, ColeJ.
