to TX. Plus it was only $20.00.

I've read that here in Oregon the pass rate is around
15% on the first try and between 45 - 50% on multiple
tries. I believe that there were only three that
achieved certification in OR last year. That includes
both me and a co-teacher who received our ea/sci on
try one. The numbers are low, but it looks good for
those of us who are certified ;)

        Good luck everyone!

Not wasting any time, are we? I reviewed the National
Science Education Standards before the test. I had
planned to review each of those topics in a text book,
but never got around to it and found I really didn't
            need to.

The test was long, and I found that I had not enough
time for some of the questions. So stay focused and
on topic! My co-teacher and I both intrepreted
several questions differently and discussed different
topics in our answers and we both passed.

Good Luck and let me know what you think of the test.

            Mike

              Linda,
The assessment cannot be studied for.  It is all based on your knowledge of science concepts, vocab, interrelations, misconceptions, evaluating student work.  Good luck.  I missed it last year by 10 points and am redoing two sections.  I am also in NC.
