- First, make a list of unifying themes. You can get these from the national standards and benchmarks previously mentioned.
Then, for each benchmark, list the key topics for earth, life, and physical science.
Then for each of those, list key concepts. Use teacher editions of text books out of your area for help. Staple all the pages together for each theme.
For example, if your theme is ENERGY in systems, list key facts about energy of motion, energy in fuels, energy production in the human body,energy from the sun, etc.
Then, even though you can't take things in with you, you will have your thoughts organized.
Look at the example prompt in the assessment center guide you were mailed for a good example.
For my AC, the question was formatted and worded as shown in the prompt, except there was a different theme, and different choices.
