When choosing two students, choose two that your teaching can encourage, persuade, lead to success for each student.  I collected data from several students and chose the two students that I could show the most growth during that unit, because of my teaching/instruction.  That is what you want to showcase-your teaching success with two students.
      Good luck!

I used a popular kid with low self-esteem regarding classwork and an MR student with an incredible work ethic. Annette shazrolane wrote:

I'm trying to decide on which two students I should choose to discuss
and analyze for my Entry 1. Should I pick two students with special
needs? One low performing student and one high performing student? Two
        average kids?

        Ack.
