FWIW: I'm using a "Y" connector on the R4C injection jack for my digital dial running transcieve mode - plugs into R4C, one arm of the "Y" goes to digitalstoth47
... If you're looking at the LO and it's direct conversion. I.e., LO = RF + IF. I had one set up with my Hallicrafters SX-99. Worked great, Bands 1-3grendelair
Drake radios are well worth the effort to rescue the hamfest and e-bay "parts" rigs. Tubes and other parts are readily available, and they can be repaired without the use of tweezers, microscopes and other specialized equipment.
