Group Description

Great old boat-anchors that were American made, and that are still a great radio!! We are here to support and help other collectors and users of these fine, innovative radios and their accessories. They are solid performers and can still hold their own against the today's 'home appliance' looking radios.
Drake radios are well worth the effort to rescue the hamfest and e-bay "parts" rigs. Tubes and other parts are readily available, and they can be repaired without the use of tweezers, microscopes and other specialized equipment.
Of course, since you're reading this, you already know the value of Drake radios. Here on DrakeRadio you will find any help you might need, as well as find others who share your appreciation of these fine, innovative radios, and who enjoy using them in our hobby of Ham radio.
