- This is real. But we can not give credit toward the 25 hours. At least not yet. This is just from the goodness of your heart. You can donate as few as two hours. We actually like a lot of people to donate 2-6 hours over the weekend so many get to enjoy the gift of giving. there are 50 hours the drive is open over the weekend and we need about four volunteers at each time period so we need two hours of volunteer time over the weekend. Last year about 25 people volunteered for an average of 8 hours each.
