Wed November 28th
City Hall (14th and Broadway), One Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, Hearing Room One.
The Planning Commission will be discussing traffic, noise, environmental, and other impacts that could result from the proposal to demolish the Schilling Gardens and construct a 42-story residential tower. The high-rise would be the tallest buidling in Oakland and provide 370 units, a 993 square foot ground floor café, and five levels of below grade parking. The project would also include the relocation of several trees, the concrete arbor features, the fountain, and benches from Shilling Gardens. The exact project address is 222 19th Street
