Liberals are rats
- Wishing You a Politically Incorrect New Year!

With the arrival of 2008, we are in the midst of elections. At the time of each election, we come to diverging roads. We are hopeful that the United States will once again head down the Conservative road. What we Conservatives will chose for the future direction of the United States is not what our enemies or our Liberal fellow countrymen prefer.
We have been shocked by many of our elected Republicans who have acted like Liberals in the vain attempt to gain more political support. They have left our borders porous in a time of war and have added a massive debt of entitlements to our future. This resulted in an erosion of Conservative power with the election of 2006.
Electing Liberals is like adding rats to a granary. Liberals consume and destroy the wealth of a nation and contaminate the rest.
The results of the 2008 election will make all the difference for our future. We pray that our countrymen will choose Conservatives for our leaders, that is the road less taken by the World.
We Conservatives want crucial issues to be addressed with courage and determination rather than delay, appeasement, and cowardice. We had hoped that much more progress would have already been made.
* Federal judicial appointments, more than anything else our next President will do, will define his or her legacy and the future of the United States. Our Federal Courts must enforce our Constitution and cease to reinterpret it as a judicial legislative tool to compensate for Liberal issues that cannot be won at the ballot box.
A requirement for a healthy and secure United States is the removal of Federal judges who legislate and amend our Constitution from the bench. This will take extensive Congressional courage.
*Throughout the World we are witnessing the Advance of Freedom. It started with President Reagan engaging and ultimately defeating the Soviet Union and continues with President Bush's War on Terror. Freedom has continued to advance with elections in Afghanistan and Iraq.
North Korea, Iran, and Syria are becoming more inclined to follow Libya's move toward a civilized coexistence. Unfortunately, some military intervention may be required to halt their support of terrorism and to remove dictators and tyrants from power.
Parallel to the War on Terror, we must strongly remind China to keep out of Taiwan and to abandon its Pacific expansion plans. This would go a long way in deterring a future major war. Our Japanese and Indian Allies will be crucial in this effort.
Russia is taking advantage of the United States' preoccupation with the War on Terror. Russia's threats to arm Iran are a reason for us to worry. However, the failure of state-of-the-art Russian military hardware to even detect Israeli aircraft during a bombing run deep within Syria does give us good reason for thanks and relief. Russia's efforts to ally China and Europe against us will have limited success, as both are highly dependent on the United States economy.
*When not encumbered by politics, our government does a good job providing for our defense with military strength and intelligence gathering. Democracies despise national defense spending. Politicians discover they can buy votes with money diverted from defense to domestic spending. War and military preparations are condemned. We have paid dearly for this lack of insight that led to the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Cold War, and the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
With the massive military cuts of the 1990's, it is no wonder our troops have longer deployments and have lacked for sufficient armored vehicles and other equipment. We should be alarmed by current proposals for additional military spending cuts.
*In an ownership society, people take personal responsibility for their family's welfare. As ownership, and the economic success it produces, takes power away from politicians and bureaucrats, there is much political resistance to property ownership, prosperity, and the accumulation of personal monetary security.
Privatizing the retirement portion of Social Security would have provided workers with real savings accounts and significantly increased retirement income. The problem for politicians is that if people were to have more income during their retirement, they would become less dependent on politicians.
Returning health care to basic economic principles will greatly decrease the cost of medical care. Patients and their physicians, and not bureaucrats, will make the health care decisions. Health care savings plans owned by the patients will benefit everyone. The promise of free healthcare is a very powerful political force for controlling the votes of the people and will not be abandoned by the Left.
It is time to return the ownership of education and welfare to communities and states. People and their hometown bureaucrats are more efficient with local problems than centralized bureaucrats. This is another lesson we should have learned from the Soviet Union and Socialist Europe. Education and welfare are charged with emotion and filled with money and power, so the Left will not lightly return any control to We the People.
*Limiting Federal spending not authorized by our Constitution is the best way to balance the budget, cut the Federal Debt, and fund our National Defense. We need to get money out of the government or government will become uncontrollable with power over every aspect of our private lives.
The best means of fueling the economy is by cutting taxes. The tax cuts under Presidents Kennedy, Reagan, and Bush 43 significantly increased IRS receipts because the people had more money to invest in a growing economy. Liberal politicians and the United Nations do not want us to know this. They call for higher taxes, as their power decreases in direct proportion with the taxation rate.
The elimination of the death tax and establishing a flat income or sales tax will further benefit our productivity and our economy. People can manage their own affairs better than the Beltway bureaucrats. The problem is that without the ability to grant tax favors and to control human activities with the United States Tax Code, Congress fears losing enormous power.
*A reduction of bureaucratic rules and regulations will increase competition and return our economy to basic fiscal principles.
Agriculture is a primary example of a business regulated and taxed almost to death. Farming is necessarily subsidized to keep it alive, keeping farmers highly dependent on government entitlements.
The excessive regulation of health care, including pharmaceuticals and vaccines, has escalated health care costs and created shortages and rationing of health care. Waiting times for patients have increased and new miracle drugs coming to the market are in very short supply.
The food industry is sued because people choose to overeat. The pharmaceutical industry is prosecuted for unforeseen medication complications. Adult supervision of our Congress is urgently needed.
*A rational energy policy is needed. Such a policy must produce increased energy supplies and not be used as a Leftist rationing tool. The recent Energy Bill mandates that we will drive lighter more dangerous vehicles instead of facilitating the production abundant supplies of fuel for our economy.
Even if workable nuclear fusion were developed tomorrow, fossil fuels will continue play a major role in our energy needs over the next three decades. World prosperity requires a plentiful supply of inexpensive energy. Those inexpensive energy resources are still coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear fission. These energy resources are highly abundant and could be very easily put into production if it were not for the heavy hand of Leftist government.
*Human-produced global warming, like Darwinian evolution, remains a major tenet of Leftist orthodoxy. Despite growing evidence to the contrary, claims persist that the current episode of global warming is somehow problematic and is caused by human economic activity. This is just another Socialist attempt to move United States money to the United Nations for the supposed distribution to poorer countries.
The current mild warming trend has been accompanied by unprecedented scientific and economic advancement. Human life expectancy has doubled and crop productivity has increased four fold. Food, fiber, and natural resources are more plentiful than at any time in history. Increased rainfall is producing more crops, shrinking the Earth's deserts, and adding 45 billion tons of snowfall to Antarctica's icepack each year.
If something is working well, economically beneficial, and enjoyable, we can trust the Left to attack it and claim they can do better. The scientific myth of human caused global warming must be rejected before it does serious harm.
*Left-wing Socialist ideology is dangerous to our national security, environment, economy, health, and safety. The attacks of the Secular Left on God, The Ten Commandments, prayer, our Constitution, our military, agriculture, energy, industry, technology, morals, marriage, values, and life must be confronted.
*Electing an honest and courageous President and Congress is essential for our national and economic security. Conservative political courage during 2008 is key to our future and to our very survival and that of Western Civilization.
Our future will indeed be bright if freedom and prosperity are allowed to flourish at home and abroad. The means to this is the defeat of tyranny, whether it is Communist, Terrorist, Socialist, or Liberal.
I wish you a very Politically Incorrect New Year.
