Group Description

Our group helps advocates, friends & fans of National Geographic Channel's TV show "The Dog Whisperer" and other shows. We feel that it is more then one person, it is a path that we journey with our 4 legged teacher, healer, mirror.

We use dog psychology, obedience training or both for jumping, barking, leash, walking (pulling), chewing, good behavior with other animals, fostering, rescues, adoptions, purebred ~ simple to complex!

We support the dream "No more dogs abandoned /euthanized from behavior problems"!

We focus on IMMEDIATE problem solutions. All ways, philosophies which do not harm the dog. Wellness, health, illness, energy, natural, considerations are on topic, explore how your animal (and you) may be affected. Train by clicker, positive, Canine Good Citizen or Therapy, Assistance, working dogs,~ options to integrate with your way!

Are your dogs furry humans or "humanized"? Explore how stories, emotions or reactions contribute to the problems in your dog/human relationships Discuss trials, problems, ideas, victories, resources & experiences. Shy, fearful, anxiety, high energy, aggressive, red zone, rescue, foster, purebred, new owner to "professional"- all people, problems, conditions welcomed here for solutions!

We are problem dog behavior/psychology discussion group. Here we change from being "pet owner's", victims of problem dogs, to effective leaders of our dogs & our lives, sharing experiences, resources, support! Our common thread: we agree with the principles behind those teachings seen on the show, seeking to understand how to apply these techniques, otherwise, there is no professional connection.

Disclaimer: The Dog Whisperer show, works with dogs identified as vicious. Any advice is strictly the opinion of the writer. We make no claims of "teaching" techniques seen on the show. Take suggestions here at your own risk. Make safe choices, seek professional support as needed.
