heres a commercial vodka site from belarus
      http://www.belarus.net/Enterprise/Grodnowvz/prod03e.htm
it mentions using water "softened by flint". the site has a lot of
broken english so it may mean something else. vitamin C is said
to "reinstate lost or seared immunity, and reduces hangover
syndrome." they also say "Vodka pretreated by silicon possesses
      decontamination and increases storage time."??
they also use quartz filters, magnetic fields, sugar, citric acid,
KCL, sodium bicarbonate and even vinegar!

i went trying to find the polish vodka site again and typed it in
      wrongly and got this
      http://www.polishvodka.com
this site is saying polish vodka is very poor quality. the site looks
terrible, i thought it was a joke at first. it has bad reviews from a
      guy from
      http://www.spiritjournal.com
they slate wyborowa rye vodka which i drank recently and thought was
nice, they do say other "experts" give it good reviews
