It is interesting to note that for balsamic vinegar aging/flavoring,
oak, chestnut wild cherry, juniper, ash, mulberry wood is used.
Daniel Rogov (Search 'Rogov's Ramblings') states that also Balsamic
Pine (Abies balsamica) is also used.
