      The preferred grain for vodka is wheat because of its mild flavor. A
      source of pre-cooked wheat is 'bulgur wheat' which is commonly used
      to make a tabouli salad. If you cannot get flaked wheat, bulgur wheat
      is an excellent alternative and is usually available in health food
      stores or Middle East groceries.
      "Bulgur is a quick-cooking form of whole wheat that has been cleaned,
      parboiled, dried, ground into particles and sifted into distinct
      sizes."
      This makes it convenient to use, as all you need to do is to add
      water at 75C, wait for it to drop to 65C, add 10% (1 lb for each 10
      lbs or 500 g/5 kg) crushed malted barley for the conversion rest.
