Set up this a couple of days ago -
1kg Roast hemp seeds ( 1hr at gas mark 5 turning regularly ) crushed on a quirn
1kg maize meal
0.5kg crushed wheat
2kg white malt ( this is probably the same as lager malt )
All the stuff except the malt was boiled in 1gall of water, topped up the water to 2gal and
added the malt, kept at around the 60ish mark for a couple of hours, pitched the yeast - a
mixture of bottom fermenting yeast from the last bock brew which had just been casked and
bakers yeast - as soon as it was cool enough.
OG was 1045 after I'd strained enough of the solid out to actualy get a gravity reading.
Final vol about 2.5-3 galls.
