    I ve had Sumerian beer once. A colleague in Finland had a local brewery make it according to an original recipe. They called it Enkidu--since 2500 BC .

      They called it "Enkidu--since 2500 BC". Horrible tasting stuff when it
      was fresh. And you don't want to know what it was like after two days...
