A good PowerPoint site explaining how 'eaux-de-vie' and 'grappa' is
      made -
      http://www.unlv.edu/Tourism/FAB362PowerPointSlides/Brandy3April29.ppt

'Orujo' is the term used for Spanish 'grappa' while 'aguardiente' is
      the generic name for liquor.
Interesting to note that for a berry eau-de-vie,the proportion used
is 4 kg of berries macerated in 1 litre of 50%abv, then redistilled
      to capture the flavor.
