Re: [Distillers] HOMEDISTILLERS IS BACK ALL - Re: Homedistiller.org recap
Sorry I am one of the people here and think most members have always appreciated the site and given a donation in gratitude. I beleive it has been like a bible to beginners of hobby distilling. I must say that it has not changed over the last 4 years but is still a good site for people starting this pastime. I have never heard Harry be anything but complimentary. If a few people say something , it is not speaking for our whole forum, who do you speak for?. That I can argue, debate and generally get up everyones nose, shows how open this forum is. We eat chickens.

I simply have to laugh at the people (chicken littles), here.
Dave (aka Uncle Jesse), owns the computer servers where
homedistiller. org lives on. Dave also owns the registered domain
name of www.homedistiller. org (see
http://whois. domaintools. com/homedistille r.org ). Dave has recently
(over the last 4 years, but licensed about a year), setup Pioneer
Distilling. Dave hosts Tony Ackland's web pages (on
www.homedistiler. org) AND PAYS FOR the bandwidth (even though Tony
still gets payment for amazon sales, and any paypal payments).
All that Dave did, was do some routine maintenance on the server, yet
the people here run around like something was hijacked, and screaming
bloody murder. He simply put up a redirection page to another
server, so the web page would not be totally dead.
He had posted an announcement to this happening, on the forums. Sorry
that you did not have this information, but it was out there.
