why don't your put your PDA or maybe your lap top. Your are saying
that something is.. but your are not making a case that something is
          important or has an impact.

Ok sven you win. Happy? You are a tester and I am a builder and we will never agree. For some reason it is important to you. I don t care to say you are right.

Ok sven you win. Happy? You are a tester and I am a builder and we
will never agree. For some reason it is important to you. I don't care
to say you are right. The triac makes rf. That is all I am willing to
concede. RFI has not been proven at all. And you can't do it because
the signal is way too low to affect anything.
But YOU ARE RIGHT! The triac does make RF.
            Want to here it again?
Hell what do I know? I have only built a dozen of these things that
work really well for the purpose intended, which is to make some real
good alcohol for a small amount of money without affecting anything
            around them.
If you want, we can take this off line and out of the forum but out of
respect for the others, I won't be discussing this with you or anyone
else on here any more. If you want to chat outside this forum, cool.
I will still be building, promoting economy and good recipes. If you
are just looking for someone to bicker with I'll be glad to accomodate
            but on here.

By the way half the parts cam in today for the kits. Progress is on
            schedule and on budget.

              Sherman,

I'm not trying to 'pick an argument' with you and I'm glad to see
someone making kits to help others out.

I'm just tying to point out a weekness that is not visable unless (1)
you get an installation that the problem exposes itself in, or (2)
you look at it with an extremely critical eye (and sensitive tools).

The extremely small numbers are simply the thresholds where it is
possible to start inducing interference with other electronic items.
Exceeding the thresholds does not guarantee you will have a problem,
but staying below the threshold should guarantee you will not have a
              problem.

I did try emailing you once but got no reply.

I'll be glad to discuss it either in the other list or off line.

              Sven
