      save them in a plastic bag in the freezer

      when you get a big handful [scientific measurement] shove them through
      a juice extractor , throw away the pulp or cook with it , then add
      ethanol at circa 80% in equal proportion to the juice

      you now have a tincture of beautiful citrus flavour ,,apply to almost
      any liqueur and / or whisky brandy rum etc etc at a dose rate of 20ml
      / litre ,,vary to taste

      why ???? it gives a phenomanal flavour "lift" to the overall profile
      without being obvious

      what about the pith i left in i hear you cry ??? leave it there in
      the case of grog ,,,,,,,it gives an extremely minor top note of mild
      bitterness
