i plan on drilling many holes in the bottom of a tall slim wine or
spirit bottle. fill the bottle with stainless scrubbers up to about
5" from the top of the bottle and have a 1/2" copper tube coming out
of the top of the bottle connected to the bottle with some silicon
tube (on the outside of both the bottle and copper). the copper will
go into a large container of cold water with a rubber grommet and a
hole in the bottom as a condenser.
this bottle will then fit into a large hole at the top of a drilled
out 50L beer keg (the bottle will be wrapped in ptfe tape so it makes
a snug fit). the keg has a 2.4kw controlled element in it.
any thoughts on this. advice or suggestions e.g. what do you think
the maximum diameter of the bottle should be. if you have problems
visualising it tell me and i'll post a drawing.
