What The Hay is THAT??

Last weekend I ran off the apple jack I was working on. I have
recently changed jobs and moved and lost my distilling place. So I
was transporting the apple cider to the new place. I spilled 1/4 of
That was too bad, because it tasted really great. Anyway... what
I ended up with, after distillation, was around 3.75L of nice tasting
stuff. I had about 750ml of the hard cider in my frige and last
night (not being one to let well enough alone) I poured it into the
3.75L of new apple jack. This morning when I got up, it had about 1
inch of congealed shit on top of it. It is clear and not too
thick... What the hell is that???? Maybe I invented something haha.
for you chemical guys. the jack was (I'm guessing)30% and at room
temp around 68-79f. the cider was refrigerated. I poured it in,
gave it one shake, and slept on it
