Easiest test in the world is to taste some of the wash. You ll know right away if there is still sugar present or it has all been converted. -- Brendan Keith

      Hi,
An Alcoholmeter is callabrated using 100% abv. use it after your
      distillation run.
You should be using a wine hydrometer which is callabrated to zero
with clean water before your distillation run.
