      Bay leaves - 2 whole
      Aniseed - pinch of seeds
      Wormwood - pinch
      Camomile - 4 blossoms
      Teasel (dipsacus fullonum) - 1/2 chopped root
      Thistle - 1/2 chopped root
      Carrot seeds - pinch
      Caraway seeds - pinch
      Lemon verbena - 4 leaves
      Lime - peel 1/4 lime
      Cloves - 4 whole
      Chicory - 1/2 chopped root
      Coriander - 4 seeds
      Gentian - pinch of root
      Juniper - 4 berries
      Hibiscus - 1 tbsp. blossoms
      Melissa (lemon balm) - 4 leaves
      Peppermint - 4 leaves
      Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium) - 4 leaves
      Artichoke - 4 leaves
      Tangerine (mandarin) - 1 medium, quartered
      Liquorice root - pinch
      Walnut (green) - 1 whole
      Rose - 10 petals
      Rhubarb - 150 mm chopped stalk
      Orris root - pinch
      Oregano - pinch
      Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus) - pinch
      Tea - 1 tsp.
      Thyme - pinch
      Sugar - 240 g
      Dry white wine - 300 ml
      Alcohol (95%bv) - 300 ml

      Macerate all the botanicals with the alcohol in a sealed glass jar for
      10 days. Dissolve the sugar in the wine and add to jar. Stand for
      another 20 days. Strain. Age for 7 months.
