    I think its more like 50 mls taken out of each five litre batch then thrown back into the next and so on ..... then disregard the 50 mls at the end of the last

      Glen, think along the lines that for every yeast used, there will be approx 50ml of heads to discard, so for 5 litres, take off 10ml, is that the correct mathematics/.

      Having only a 5 ltr still cuases a problem of scabbyness!
      So I am confused over the methanol stage when stilling 4.7ltr wash at a time.....I have been advised that a 25ltr wash should have about 50ml of ethanol..but im not sure if this is from the whole 25ltr or just the 5ltr i do at a time?
      Help me there's not enough drink to go around!!!!!
