      Greek hooch (tsipouro) is made in traditional pot stills that resemble those
      used by alchemists. The French pot still for cognac is similar. Note the use
      of modern utensils - 44gal steel drum for the condenser! In other parts of
      the world it is used as the boiler itself. Milk cans (bidons) are handy for
      that purpose too! The tsipouro is made from grape pomace or pressings from
      wine making (stemfila), so nothing is wasted - useful source of calories in
      the cold months ahead!
