      Homemade Drambuie
(from 'Classic Liqueurs' by C. Long & H. Kibbey)
      750 ml Scotch
      11/2 cups mild honey
2 tsp dried chopped angelica root
      1/4 tsp crushed fennel seeds
2-50 mm strips of lemon zest
Combine ingredients in a glass jar. Cover tightly and shake several
times during the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, remove the lemon
zest. Cover and steep for 14 days, shaking every other day. Strain.
Allow to age for 6 months. Decant and bottle.

      Drambuie Type Liqueur
      (Leon Brocard, www.astray.com/recipes/)
      4 cups Scotch whisky
      2 cups orange blossom honey
      31/2 tbsp coriander seeds
If you cannot find orange blossom honey, add 1 tsp grated orange
      peel
to regular honey. Combine ingredients and shake until honey is
dissolved. Cover and steep for 4 weeks. Strain and bottle.

      Angelica Liqueur (Drambuie)
(from 'Making Cordials & Liqueurs at Home', J.P. Farrell)
      750 ml Scotch whisky
      11/2 tsp chopped angelica root
      1 cup of honey
Add angelica to the Scotch and let it steep only overnight. Strain
and add the honey. Allow to age for 2 months, decant and bottle.

      Homemade Drambuie
      (from Linda Cunningham http://www.his.com/~fandl/linda.html)
      750 ml Scotch whisky
1/4 tsp dried rosemary or 1 tsp fresh
      1 cup of honey
Add rosemary to the Scotch and let it steep for 1-2 nights. Strain
and add honey. Allow to age for 2-3 weeks, decant and bottle.
