      "The still, called bingkil nira, is made from the holow stump of a
      coconut tree and is shaped like a truncated cone. The bottom part is
      steel, shaped like a wok, and this is fastened, to the coconut stump
      with a glue made of Balinese palm sugar and clay. The stump sits on
      top of a brick stove that is about 4 metres square and one metre
      high. Three bamboo tubes, each about 50 mm (2 in) in diameter, extend
      radially outward from the stump boiler, each sloping upward slightly.
      The tubes end in a node, and a smaller bamboo tube extends from there
      straight down into a large pottery vessel...."

      Some good ideas for pot stills. The bamboo tubes could also be turned
      into multiple fractionating columns!
