is 'topinambour') which is defined as 'a spirit drink produced solely
by the fermentation of Jerusalem artichoke tubers (Helianthus
tuberosus L.) with a minimum alcoholic strength by volume of 38%.'
Helianthus tuberosus does not come from Palestine, it is actually a
native of North America and the 'Jerusalem' part is a corruption
of 'girasol' - Italian for sunflower to which the plant belongs.
