My first attempt is drinkable, but at the end there is a bitter aftertaste. No special flavor, just bitterness. I used apples and some sugar and EC-118 yeast. Starting sg was 1.15 and before distilling it was 0.92. Could it be too many copper scrubbers in the collum?
So I am ready to listen to more experienced hobbyists.
