Re: Consensus Problems & Anarchist Process
- You're suggesting that "even politicians deserve a paycheck, but a working mans paycheck", indicates that you, too, are a materialist; not to be confused with a capitalist. The at minimum we deserve strategy has brought the low-end materialists, socialists, communists, anarchists, workers, et al, to the point where the high-end materialists, neo-liberals, neo-cons, dinos, libertarians, etc., have dictated that they don't deserve, "a working mans paycheck", etc.; do we continue to keep digging in the same materialist hole in order to get out of it? Audre Lourdes said, "you can't dismantle the man's house with the man's tools". Being a human being has nothing to do with benjamins, being a politician shouldn't either; if your change is just to give them a working man's salary then they and/or their kids could easily be, and readily do conspiracy for/with the corporate structure- nothing solved, no real change. Why don't you try imagining a scenario where my supposedly, "not a bad idea", doesn't solve all problems globally- before you dismiss it with what you suggest is a better one?
