Subject: FW: Please help by signing the Petition against the Bexhill-Hastings link road
Although the last camp has been evicted, this group is still very active and means to go on. There is still much to fight for. Although George Osborne has given loads of money to this road, the East Sussex County Council will have to find a large part of it and their ratepayers probably haven’trealisedthat yet. Bad publicity will make the Council’s stance on this look increasingly questionable as they cut services over the coming months to save money to pay for this road. They are clearly getting nervous about the anti-road campaign (see below). Please sign this counter-petition. It is at the Government’s petition site. The link in the email below should work, but if not try this:http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/45254
Please help these people who have been campaigning so magnificently (if you can make a donation to them or help in any other way please go their website (link also below)

East Sussex County Council have launched a pro-road petition because they have been spooked by the huge local resistance to the tree felling over the last month and the High Court cases that are being taken against them.
Please please sign thisANTI-ROAD petitionto overwhelmingly show our opposition to this road, and forward the link on to your friends and contacts.
