      Project Million Lotus is the highlight of Singapore Buddhist Federation’s Vesak Celebrations.

      This project starts in March where thousands of Singaporeans will be engaged in this ground breaking, mind-bogging movement to produce 1,ooo,ooo origami paper lotuses!    

      So if you have unwanted magazines & printing paper lying around, give them a new lease of life! Donate your unwanted paper to us now J

      We will turn them into lotuses of good wishes & compassion! Work with us in this effort to harvest harmony and cultivate environmental consciousness!

      SBF Vesak Celebrations: 6 – 7 May 2006 @ Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza

      * Do come on down to write your aspirations and fold lotus with your loved ones and friends.
      * View how the lotuses are formed into an art installation.
      * Religious leaders will bless the lotuses at the finale on Sun, 7th May; 6pm .  Come be a part of this record breaking experience!
      *Enjoy other highlights: stage performances, vegetarian fair, bathing of Prince Siddhartha, turning of prayer wheels, circumbulating the Stupa, experiencing Vesak trail, kids corner and many more activities.
