I know everyone is busy at this time of year but time is very short. If we don't show the township that there is public concern they will quickly completely demolish this historic building.
Our desire is to save more than just a sign that says here stood the blacksmith shop. We need you to come to the meeting this Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. December 12th at the John L. Myers Township Building.

The blacksmith shop is located in the historic village of Chelsea, (Bethel Township) at the intersections of Concord, Foulk and Valleybrook Rds. According to the Delaware County Planning Department 's Historic Sites Survey of 1984 this blacksmith shop provided wagon parts and repairs for General Forbes during the French and Indian War (1754 - 1763). Please come to a public hearing to be held on December 12, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the John L. Myers Memorial Township Building at 1082 Bethel Rd. Garnet Valley, PA 19060 to voice your concern and desire to save this historic blacksmith shop.
