Professor Diane Brentari   Department of Linguistics, University of Chicago Sign Language Linguistics Laboratory

Professor Diane Brentari invites you to participate in research about ASL if you learned ASL from your parents or at school (age 5 or younger).  It will require a full day of your time, for which you will be paid $150-$200.  You will be asked to watch short videos and describe what you see to another ASL signer, to repeat ASL sentences, or to fingerspell words you see on a computer screen.  You will be videotaped while signing.  The sessions will be conducted at the University of Chicago.   If you are interested in participating in this project as an ASL consultant, please contact one of us by e-mail.
